Hey, folks! Anyone planning on going to the Cripple Creek Rally in Colorado? The dates for the rally are August 17-20, with a an annual veterans "Recognition Ride" on the 20th. The Recognition Ride is actually 3 rides starting from different areas in Colorado and ending up at Woodland Park (25 miles from Cripple Creek) for a POW/MIA ceremony (or somethiong to that effect). For the remainder of the rally, the town is closed to cage-drivers, and there is all sorts of stuff to do. This is supposedly the one of the biggest rallies in the country.... I'll probably go with one of the guys I work with, but anyone passing through or wishing to detour through Tulsa is welcome to ride with us. (Mountainman, you might want to spend the night- you're welcome at my place) (and I'll either put up or find somewhere for anyone else coming through!) It is probably a 2-day ride from here (750 miles or so).
